American Classics Meet South Korean Flair.

Ann Arbor, MI

The Beginning

1987

Ben + Anna Kwon opened up the doors to Bell’s Diner in 1987. It started off as an all American diner but as they started inviting over their friends and family, Ben would cook up Korean dishes for them to enjoy a little taste of home. It was only time when all the others that came into Bells wanted a taste of South Korea as well and so the menu grew larger and even more unique.

“Our guests mean the world to our family. They are the reason we open our diner every morning. Nothing better than catching up with the community over a cup of coffee”

— Ben Kwon

There is such a place where you can enjoy all your favorite diner classics, while embracing some of Seoul’s traditional dishes - all at the same table. Go ahead, order our most popular dish, BiBimBop but don’t you forget the short stack of pancakes. Sweet + Spicy is how we like to serve. We are proud to serve our guests, no matter what it is they choose for their meal that day!
